Every person has a worldview. Essentially, ones worldview includes the basic assumptions upon which their beliefs, thoughts, actions and life are built. For example a hedonistic worldview is based on the assumption that pleasure for me is the ultimate goal in life. The choices I make the way I lead my life and the way I treat others would always be made with the end goal of bringing pleasure for me.

Theism, as a worldview, claims that there is a God who is infinite, holy, personal and is the creator of everything. Theism is held by Jews, Muslims and Christians and Christianity would claim that the God of the Bible is the one upon whom Theism is built.
