Recall that the case study in your text concerns an amazing event that occurred during the second round of the 1989 US Open at Oak Hill in Pittsford, New York. Four golfers--Doug Weaver, Mark Wiebe, Jerry Pate, and Nick Price--made holes-in-one on the sixth hole.
Recall from your text that the probability of a professional golfer making a hole in one (on a given hole) is estimated to be 1/3709.
Recall that there were 155 golfers participating in the second round. Assuming the estimate given above, do the following exercises (Exercise 2 was asked in your text). Make whatever simplifying assumptions you need, but state clearly what those assumptions are.
4. Find the probability that exactly 4 of the 155 golfers would get a hole-in-one on the sixth hole.
5. Find the probability that at least 4 of the 155 golfers would get a hole-in-one on the sixth hole.
