If g(x)=x^2+1, find the formulas for g^3(x) and (gogog)(x).© BrainMass Inc. brainmass.com March 6, 2023, 12:46 pm ad1c9bdddf
g(x) = x^2+1
g^3(x) = (x^2+1)^3 = x^6 + 1 + 3*x^2*1*(x^2+1)
[because, (a+b)^3 = a^3 + b^3 + 3*a*b*(a+b)]
This provides a function and then shows how to find composite functions.
