    Find the derivative of f(x) = (x^2 -1)^3 /(2x^2)
    Pull out 1/2:
    f(x) = (1/2) * (x^2 -1)^3 /(x^2)
    Use the product rule, with u = (x^2-1)^3 and v = (x^2)^-1, and don't forget the 1/2:
    f'(x) = (1/2) * (uv' + ...
