    <br>This is of the form ax^2 + bx + c = 0
    <br>
    <br>Use the relation x = [-b(+/-)(b^2-4ac)^1/2]/2a
    <br>
    <br>With a =1, b=-1 and c=-1
    <br>
    <br>Thus x = [-(-1)(+/-)((-1)^2-4 x1x(-1) )^1/2]/2
    <br>
    <br> = {1(+/-)[5]^(1/2)}/2
    <br>
    <br>X has two values.
