Determinants and solving equations
Not what you're looking for?
When solving a 3 3 determinant I broke the determinant down into a sequence of 2 2 determinants, remembering to alternate the signs of the leading coefficients in front of the smaller determinants. By extension, how might I calculate a 4 4 determinant?
Please show all work thoroughly.
