I am practicing for CLEP exam. Can't work problem backwards. Multiple choice.
What is the remainder when x to the 3rd + 5x to the 2nd - 6x + 10 is divided by
x + 3 ?

I know the answer is 46, I just don't know why. Can some one walk me through it?
