Problem: Solve for the variables 'a' & 'b' (only the positive solutions) where,
(a - b) x (a + b) = 9x5
This is my work..is it correct?
2a
= a2 + ab -ab - b2 = 45
a2 - b2 + b2 = 45 = b2
a2 = 45 + b2
a2 + a2 - b2 = 45 - b2 + b2
a2 - b2 = 45
7squared = 49
-2squared = -4
49 + -4 =45
a = 7squared, b =
