    Judging from the results of the human rights council's universal periodic review, what are the major issues facing Haiti and the United States of America, respectively, regarding their human rights obligation? How would you address these concerns?

    The major issues facing Haiti according to the review are violence against women and children, conditions of extreme poverty in the displacement camps set up after the earthquake, and the plight of trafficking of children. In addition, lack of adequate housing and healthcare for children is systemic (IJDH, 2011).
