The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) falls under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and reports on the risk factors for drug use among juveniles. Among these factors are neighborhood characteristics, parental involvement, peer influence, religious involvement, and drug prevention or awareness programs.
