Extortion and racketeering are the most damaging crimes in society because these crimes damage the fabric of commerce and corrupt industries. Although extortion entails organized crime rings forcefully threatening business owners to give portions of their profits over to these criminal organizations, racketeering often entails complicity from business leaders. Racketeering is committed by business owners, politicians, and other high-ranking members of society, and this causes problems for the concept of a free capitalistic market that jeopardizes confidence in the public.

There are two primary victimless crimes, and these are drug abuse and prostitution. Despite the asinine and racist "war on drugs", the two most dangerous and deadly drugs that are abused by tens of millions of Americans every single day, are tobacco and alcohol. These two drugs kill hundreds of thousands each year, but because of the wayward drug laws in America, these drugs that allow for "victimless" actions to occur are legal while drugs such as marijuana are illegal.
