The two acts passed after The Jungle was published eventually evolved into what we now know today as the Food & Drug Administration (FDA). It is the FDA's job to ensure that the food & medicines America are safe for citizens to consume. For this section, you will research an example of the FDA having to intervene to enforce the law.
