The first industrial revolution was a truly transformative event that changed the entire course of human history. For the first time, humans would be able to mass produce necessities such as food, clothes, and other life essentials without having to rely upon human labor solely. The assembly lines and machinery that was invented as well as other advances made the world a whole new place. It also helped to prolong the lifespans of humans and created wealth that was only available to monarchs and dynasties prior to the revolution.
