In turn, I really like the artist, An-My L?. Research shows how she was born in Saigon, Vietnam, in 1960 and then fled Vietnam with her family as a teenager in 1975 (http://www.pbs.org/art21/artists/an-my-le). Because of her personal connection to the war, she created art of protest.
