Have you ever heard the comment mind over matter? Has someone ever suggested that you should think positive? Henry Ford had it correct when he stated that your thinking controls your actions. The power of positive thinking comes into play in many aspects of life including academics, jobs, relationships, and communication.
If you have fears and doubts in your mind, you are less likely to put forth full effort toward the task at hand. The negative thoughts evoke emotions that can inhibit you from being successful or accomplishing that task. Positive beliefs induce feelings of happiness, success, and enthusiasm which will produce positive results. Thus whether thinking you can or you can't, will directly determine the outcome. In order revamp your thinking, you must expect only favorable results which will intensify your confidence and inner strength.
Fear of failure is one of life's greatest fears. I personally have felt this inside. When presented with a problem or an obstacle, you bring to mind your weaknesses and doubts instead of concentrating on your strengths and certainty of the situation. Past experience can determine the emotions and visions that come into play. Having suspicion or skepticism in you because of past performances can fuel the fear of failure.
