Based on my forty-four years of experience in the educational arena, as a special educator, researcher, parent, and now grandparent; I can attest to the interplay of the aforementioned variables. I will address each individually:
Student's Culture:
Students bring their culture with them wherever they may go. According to Wood (1994), "Several variables affect growth and development of African American, Latino, Asian, and Native American children in American schools and in general." ...
