1.Identify the characteristics, and their use, of the ADDIE Instructional Design Model.

The ADDIE model consists of five phases which transition into the subsequent phase.

These 5 phases are: Analysis > Design > Development > Implementation > Evaluation.

In the Analysis phase, the goals and objectives are laid out and the instructional problem is outlined. In addition, the learner's skills and knowledge are made clear. Determining the learner's needs can involve: short quizzes, introductory questions, training videos and observation in class.

In the Design phase, a logical and orderly method is utilized to plan the lesson and instructional strategies. This involves considering assessments, course content, subject matter and teaching instruments.
