Alpine:

Description:

Alpine biomes are characterized by their cold, snowy, and windy environment. It also has high mountains as it is in mountainous regions across the globe

Location:

They are usually at an altitude of about 10,000 feet or more and this biome lies just below the snow line of a mountain.

Life forms:

Different life forms include plants typically consisting of small perennial groundcover plants which grow and reproduce slowly.

Adaptations:

Plants have also adapted to the dry conditions of the Alpine biome by protecting themselves from the cold and wind by hugging the ground.

Chaparral:

Description:

The chaparral biome is found in a little bit of most of the continents and it is characterized by very mild winters and hot and dry summers
