I strongly believe a Master's degree is simplifying depth training in a specialized field. Keeping this in mind, the usefulness of each degree depends on your academic and career interests. Master's degrees are more versatile then doctoral degree and have a wide range of professional and academic applications. Like for example, According to the U.S. Department of Education three types of maters programs exist. Like for example research, professional and terminal. The most common doctorate is the Doctor of Philosophy of Ph.D. and other research doctorate prepares students to initiate new projects that add to the collective knowledge and base of the filed.
