    From an economic perspective, recycling is a money loosing proposition since we derive negative profits from it. Recycling causes the destruction of resources that are more valuable than the resources reclycling saves. Do you agree with these statements?

    I do not agree with these statements. Although it may be true many of times that recycling becomes a money losing proportion, the hidden benefits or long term advantages of recycling answers all the arguments against recycling. Recycling is not just a matter of resource conservation. The benefits of recycling in terms of prevention of environmental pollution is a strong point in favor of recycling. The long term costs of environmental degradation or pollution can be huge and recycling efforts help in minimize the impact of such ...
