Overpopulation of a species in an ecosystem can provoke problems in a food chain but because species adapt, mutate, migrate or somehow adjust this problem can be corrected in nature. In the modern era, where man has intercepted, the dynamic provokes more challenges because conditions may exist that disallow easy adjustment of overpopulation. Two examples are the overpopulation of deer and Canadian Geese.
