    Climate change is an environmental issue in the news almost daily. Air pollution impacts us on a global level. What are the implications of climate change? And, do you feel the efforts to improve air quality are worth the economic costs?

    First, the student must consider how much he/she knows about this topic. If the questions (listed below) cannot be answered confidently, the student should check out a few websites and get some more background knowledge.

    Second, basic information on climate change/global warming will be included here so with which the student can base their argument on.

    Third, some starting references will be included here. Keep in mind there is A LOT of literature on climate change out there, these are just a guide to some of the basics.

    I think you first need to think about what you know about climate change and its relationship with air pollution. Ask yourself some simple questions first:

    1) What is climate change?
    2) What is causing it?
    3) What are the implications of it? i.e. what will happen to the world if it continues?

    If you can't answer these questions confidently, you should do some reading. The following is a website (the David Suzuki Foundation) with really basic and useful information. I suggest you start here:
