2. Relative Strengths of Acids and Bases. For each of the following reactions, decide which species (reactants or products) are favored at the completion of the reaction. In other words, will the reactions go from left-to-right or right-to-left?

a. HNO2(aq) + HS-(aq) --> NO2-(aq) + H2S(aq)
b. HClO(aq) + H2O(l) --> ClO-(aq) + H3O+(aq)
c. NH4+(aq) + H2PO4-(aq) --> NH3(aq) + H3PO4(aq)

3. Calculating [H3O+] and [OH-]. Suppose a bottle is labeled 3.50 x 10-7 M M(OH)3, where M = an unknown metal. What are the values of [H3O+] and [OH-]?
