    While airlines use segmented pricing strategies to charge business travelers more, most hotels actually give "corporate discounts" to business guests. Can you explain this anomaly?

    Thanks for posting today. Also, thank you for responding to my message and clarifying. I will try to give you as much information as I can, although I think you will see the logic is pretty intuitive.

    Alot of this comes down to basic supply vs demand. I think it's safe to say that the airline industry itself uses a stratified pricing model that's fairly unique, and not very well understood by anyone.
