The results of creative intelligence are influenced by the type of creative intelligence used. The four types are intuitive, innovative, imaginative, and inspirational. In this context, it is essential to recognize that the objective, mindset, and personality of the persons using different types of creative intelligence are different. Moreover, each type of person is affected by five factors, namely environmental, hereditary, education, genetic, and past experiences. In practice, however, decision making is curtailed because of the mind-set or the mental model of individuals. These models are techno-centric, customer centric, business-centric, person-centric, or innovative centric.

There are four styles of creative intelligence. The intuitive, innovative, imaginative, and inspirational are the four styles. Intuitive focuses on getting results and uses past experience. The decision making process is instinctive and unconscious knowing without deduction or reasoning. For instance, the shares of ImClone fall by 6% on one day of trading and one investor instinctively purchases those shares. This is an intuitive decision-making. Rational thinking as found in innovative creative intelligence is not there. Intuitive creative intelligence involved developing and using additional sensors to recognize and get information. This process is described as the sixth sense, inner voice, or the gut feeling. In contrast, innovative creative thinking means relying on data, and focusing on problem solving, Innovative creative intelligence concentrates on bringing about successful change. Innovative intelligence often decides on whether to use a technology or not. For instance, innovative creative intelligence may recommend the use of hand-held computers by foremen on in a forging workshop to reduce the percent of rejections.
