A. Minority influence is the minority persuading the majority about an opinion. Compliance is getting someone to agree to do something. Majority influence is the majority persuading the minority to agree about something. Compliance is the willingness of someone to do something. Majority is the pressure from a group to make someone in the minority do it.
Minority influence related to conversion - if the person feels what the minority says is accurate, then the person will convert to how the minority is thinking. Majority influence is the pressure to make the person convert. It is a matter of the person obeying what the majority wants their opinion to be. The Theory of Conversion is pressured by minority and majority. There is a conflict and the resolution is for the person to take the path of least resistance.
