Before expanding her capacity, Elizabeth should have considered the factors that led to the growth of her business in the past. The factor was the market demand. Since, the market demand does not support her expanded capacity; this is a serious challenge to Elizabeth. Before moving to the new capacity Elizabeth should have assessed the demand of the market. She should have done a market research before moving to a larger facility (Kamakura. W, 2011).
