HR trends: The current HR trends are that performance ratings were given less importance and feedback is provided far frequently than once in a year. Employees are treated more as individuals, talent management has become more complex and challenging, and artificial intelligence is increasingly being used to evaluate applicants. An important current HR trend is to measure real performance and identify the best performers. Another HR trend is to avoid purchasing all encompassing software for HR, instead specialized packages for different functions are preferred. Other current HR trends include reduced weight being given to outside benchmarking of rewards, and greater effort to keep employees at office.
