In today's globalized and technology centric business environment, establishment of virtual teams in the organization has become extremely important to ensure that remotely located employees/team members in the organization can coordinate and work with each other in an efficient and smooth manner.

There are numerous benefits with virtual teams. First of all, it enables enormous flexibility for the organization and its employees as employees located in any part of the world can connect with each virtually and work in cooperation with each other and thus, there is no need to travel and be at the same place for meetings, discussions, etc. This also results in significant cost savings because travel costs are significantly reduced. Further, work is executed at a much rapid pace.
