A) What is organizational behavior and why is it important?
Organization behavior is the attitude of the management and employees of a company. The management sets the tone for company and the way it deals with things such as diversity, conflict, and fairness are all part of the organization's behavior. For a good organization this may include training and communication channels between all levels of the company, plus embracing diversity in the people that work for the company. Giving voice to the people who may have different backgrounds and skills allows the company to be positive.
Companies that do not have a good OB may have a management concerned only with greed, single culture employees, limited fairness to employees as prescribed by law. Enron is an excellent example of this type of organization. The tone was to get all you could, how ever you could for the company despite what the outcome is for those outside of management.
