I am in total agreement that orientation can have a direct impact on retention. One of the main reasons that orientation can have a direct impact on retention, is due to the fact that during a new employees orientation that individual is gaining very important knowledge about the methods in which the organization functions, as well as a great deal of information about the most efficient and effective manner by which to perform their jobs.
