My SLP company is Kellogg and it makes cereals, cookies, crackers, toaster pastries, veggie foods, cereals, and frozen waffles. These products are made in 18 countries and are marketed in 180 countries. Now Kellogg wants to expand quickly, it want fast access to resources, avoid head on competition and wants to avoid barriers to entry. The company has selected Kraft Foods Inc to merge with. The choice of Kraft Foods has been taken because Kraft Foods makes confectionary, food and beverage and is the largest such company in the USA (3).
