I think that advancements in technology provide us with more input to make a educated, well thought-out decision on a particular topic based on the information presented through various media outlets. The one issue that technology does not solve is the innate sensitivities of individuals who have grown up with certain predispositions towards a certain group of people or a particular subject. Technology and more specifically the internet, is a mechanism that can be used to cross many cultural barriers however people have to be taught by their parents and members of the extended family that the world is continously evolving and that acceptance of change is what propels societies to greater heights.
