1. What is the Logic To-Be Model? What is accomplished with the Logic To-Be Model?

The Logic Model is a tool that has been used by program mangers and evaluation to describe the effectiveness of their programs. The Logic To-Be model describes the concepts that need to be considered when such outcomes are sought. These models actually invert the planning process and focus on the outcomes to be achieved. In such a process, we ask the question" what needs to be done?" instead of focusing on what is being done.

This approach helps us accomplish a lot because it helps us answer the question about what needs to change for the outcome to be achieved. It also helps us answer the question as to what activities need to be performed to cause learning that is required, what resources will be required to achieve the required outcome, the knowledge or skills people required before the behavior will change. The To-Be approach also helps focus on the proper examination of the current situation that needs to be changed, what the outcome will look like when ...
