Innovation is the ability to apply creative solutions to organizational problems. Organizational Structure (OS) is the framework that defines the formal system of task and reporting relationships between employees at different positions in an organization. These relationships control, coordinate, and motivate the employees towards attainment of long-term organizational goals. Innovation is also linked to the type of OS an organization has.
