Starbucks is the global leader in premium coffee retailing. It operates stores in numerous countries across the world. Starbucks enjoys huge brand reputation and is considered to be a pioneer in the coffee retailing industry.

For the purpose of this assignment, we are exploring the potential of coffee retailing for Starbucks in Brazil. One of the most important reasons for expansion of Starbucks into Brazil is the fact that Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer and produces around 25% of the world's supply of coffee. Therefore, it is extremely important for Starbucks to establish presence in this nation, not only to exploit the growth opportunities in coffee retailing, but to also tap high quality raw material in Brazil.
