Details: Townscape's city hall, police station, and fire stations were all built in the 1950's during the first building boom when the population soared from 2,000 to 30,000 in less than a decade. The major buildings of Townscape i.e. city hall, police stations and fire station are facing problem due to their architecture. These buildings were developed in the year 1950 and during that period the city experienced population explosion, which saw the figures escalating from 2,000 to 30,000. These building of the city were constructed prior to the act of ADA (American Disabilities Act) and therefore it did not meet the criteria set up by this act. These buildings still operate with older wiring and a hot/cold water based air handling system. But this has led to developing of a number of problems for the employees of the city that are suffering from the respiratory problems, headache and coughs. This is casting a major negative impact on the time and productivity in relevance to the work of the employees. The City Manager has decided to resolve this issue by arranging a meeting with city council members in order to identify the various governments, private and non-profit agencies that could be possible resources or is affected by this problem. Due to the design of the air handling system, the health as well as the productivity of the human resources is getting affected by it. The outbreak of this problem has led to employees' losing concentration at work.
