Introduction

The value chain analysis deals with the sets of interlinked value creating activities performed by an organization. It helps in examining all the activities that a firm performs. It focuses on a set of inter-related activities performed in a sequence for producing and marketing a product or service (Ramaswamy & Namakumari, 2005). The organization's division is the one that supplies necessary material to the military. Supply chain is responsible for the distribution of the product to the consumer at the right time and right place.

Logistic and supply chain is the process of planning, controlling and implementing the efficient & effective flow and storage of goods, services and related information from point of origin to point of consumption for the purpose of meeting the requirements of the people (What is Logistics & Supply Chain Management?). It is generally a myth to imagine that the best logistics strategy is to get the product from the supplier to the customer (What is Logistics & Supply Chain Management?).
