I need some help with an assignment, I need an APA abstract for my proposed research topic. My topic is government debt. I have no idea how to do an APA abstract, I have never done one and I have no clue on how to do it. Can someone help me out, and direct me in the right direction?

An APA abstract is a set of guidelines for your paper, i.e. elements that should be included, the format, the appearance, placement of the elements, etc.
The paper should be typed, double-spaced on standard 8.5" X 11" sized paper. Margins are 1" on all sides. The font recommended by APA is Times New Roman, 12 pt.
Include page numbers flush right on each inside page...then "TITLE OF YOUR PAPER" flush left. (Be sure to use all capital letters and do not use more than 50 characters)
