1.) In addressing this question, the recent strategic choices made by Wal-Mart were identified such as a.) Reduced Selling Price, and b.) Venturing into Online Marketing, and c.) Single business strategy.
Wal-Mart is aware that China is a big market for consumer products and this latest move is expected to raise its revenues. The move to have its online presence felt in China is a bold move of countering competition is the US which is mainly dominated by Amazon.com.
