In the following article," Getting unemployed job seekers back to work: The development of a process model of employment counseling behavior", the researchers examined the behaviors of career counselors (Noordzij, Van Hooft, Van Mierlo, van Dam, & Born, 2013). The study took place in an employment setting focused on whether the behavior of the employment counselors was effective or ineffective. The concepts of ineffectiveness or effectiveness was comprised of five steps including: (a) general aim, (b) plans of specifications of the situation and the subject matter to be interviewed, (c) data collection, (d) data analysis and € interpreting the data and reporting the results (p. 258).
