What are the core ethical values and mission of the corporation doing business in countries under totalitarian rule demands an investigation into the ethics of the corporation? If, for example, the corporation has a solid ethical foundation and principles that guide all business decisions to meet the corporate mission, then the corporation will need to negotiate with the corporation located in a totalitarian regime. It is about how the corporation from the home country integrates values into its mission statement vis-vis the environment, worker relations and empowerment, and whether or not there is governmental cooperation, which affects how it goes about conducting its business. In other words, is the corporation true to its core values or is it willing to deviate from its core values in the name of profit.
