What is a totalitarian government?
Totalitarianism in itself is a form of government in which an ideology or an individual is imposed without an option on a people. Typically dictatorial in nature, a totalitarian government monopolizes its absolute power over every aspect of an economy. Within the contexts of a totalitarian government, its structure is such that the government uses methodologies that rotate around conforming both private lives and morals of a country around its control tentacles. Civil society is therefore destroyed by a totalitarian government (Borade, 2010).
