Wal-Mart is a public corporation of America and it operates a number of stores all over the world. It was founded by Sam Walton in 1962. It is headquartered in the USA (Armstrong & Kotler, 2006). Wal-Mart stores Inc. offers products like Discount stores, neighborhood markets and super centers neighborhood markets. It runs a large chain of discount departmental stores. Wal-Mart was incorporated on October 31, 1969 and was listed on the New York stock exchange in the year 1972 (Company History, 2008). Wal-Mart operates with more than 1478 discount store in the 50 states of United States along with more than 1471 Wal-Mart super centers, 538 Sam Clubs, 64 neighborhood markets, etc.
