An unstable political structure influences the budget statement to a greater extent and state and local level budget is affected by the budget framed at National level. In the following discussion, the effects of politics on the public budget will be described.//
Political situations affect the budget to a great extent. If there is stability in the political environment, the budget formed will maintain the interest of the public, and it would also consider the economic stability of the country. A sound budget would enhance the economic conditions of the whole country, which in turn would positively affect the state and the local bodies (Campbell, 2009). Changes and the struggles in the economy cause instability in the whole market. Many a times, these changes are for good, but at times, theses changes can cause a serious disturbance in the whole economy and disrupt the whole budget. If there is instability in the political environment, it means that there will be a deficiency in the budget formed.
