In the development of an organizational recommendation, one of the key elements that an organization needs to develop would be the reward and performance practices within the organization. One of the best ways by which to reward staff members for outstanding performance is to designate an employee of the month for each month of the year. The employee of the month within the organization would be that employee that is observed by management as achieving the highest performance standards, based upon the criteria for evaluating employees on a monthly basis. This individual would have been the most productive for that month, demonstrated a good relationship with other staff members and management, and not have been tardy for work during that month. It would be important to reward this individual with a plaque that designate them as the employee of the month for the given month, as well as to have their picture along with the designation of employee of the month hung in a break room, as well as in the entrance lobby to the facility. This would ensure that all staff members would be able to see through the employment of the month is, as well as other individuals that enter the facility. The feeling of importance and notoriety that is gained from achieving the employee of the month status would prompt most individuals within the organization to increase their productivity and job performance in seeking to gain this award status within the organization.
