One is the birth of large infrastructure providing organizations. My experience with them is that of eBay that provides opportunity for global auction that was earlier not available. Second, the information age has led to increased empowerment of individuals. Unfair advantages are eliminated. My experience is that when there is need for recruitment, there are applicants of all colors and religions. In other words there is greater diversity. Third, there is greater decentralization of large corporations. There is greater authority given to frontline teams. In my job the team has the authority to change budget, recruit up to two persons and set the timeline for their projects. This freedom is unprecedented.
