I would suggest that not all teams need a clearly specified leader initially, but that in every work- group, a leader will emerge, whether it be natural or appointed. Why does this happen? Disorder seeks order; disorganization seeks organization. Efficiency of purpose thrives on clear organization, so we can get more done and be more focused toward the objective if we organize ourselves and act toward common objectives.
