Most artists are very worried about how they are going to live from day to day, and how are they going to sell their art work. I feel that in the days of war, most artists had to worry about first staying alive! I believe that living in America was just a little different than other places. Don't get me wrong: we did have the Great Depression, and I can image the anger that they felt when artists were really starving and selling art just to eat a meal. However in other places, artists only drew what they saw and that was pictures of war and death because of the dictator leadership they were living under. Explain.
