Janice, a high school student, attended a party at the Browns' house. She consumed alcohol at the party and when driving home fell asleep and injured two passengers in another vehicle. The passengers sued the Browns for negligence as social hosts for allowing minors to consume alcohol on their property. The Browns did not serve the alcohol but were aware that some kids snuck it into the party. The passengers claimed that the Browns violated their duty by failing to prevent the alcohol consumption.

    How should the judge rule?
